Afyon Kocatepe University Veterinary Health Application and Research Center (Kocatepe Animal Hospital) has been serving since 2005 at the ANS Campus. On September 11, 2023, our hospital moved to its new building located at the ANS campus and began operating there. Our new hospital, one of the most modern and equipped hospitals in our country, has a closed area of 7657 m2 and an open area of 21,000 m2. With its expert staff, it provides service to regional and national animal health. Additionally, veterinary faculty students have access to high-level practical education at our new hospital.
In addition to routine hospital services, specialized treatments such as hemodialysis, physiotherapy, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, echocardiography, laparoscopy, chemotherapy, and more are performed by our expert faculty members. Also, all orthopedic procedures, soft tissue surgeries, tumor surgeries, nerve surgeries, gynecological surgeries, and eye surgeries are carried out at our hospital. Our hospital also offers stem cell treatment options. Furthermore, our animal hospital is open 24 hours a day and provides emergency clinic services outside of working hours and on public holidays.
Our hospital serves the region and country in the field of animal health with separate units, each designed and equipped with technical devices for different animal species. With the amphitheaters, classrooms, clinical skill labs, and other units within our hospital, we provide both theoretical and practical educational opportunities for students studying at the veterinary faculty.
