At the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, examinations and treatments related to the female animals’ reproductive systems are carried out by expert faculty members and veterinarians. The clinic provides services through specially designed examination rooms for different animal species, operating rooms designed for gynecological surgeries, an intensive care unit, a hospitalization unit, a neonatal care unit, an ultrasound unit, and a cytology laboratory.
PREGNANCY EXAMINATION AND MONITORING
Pregnancy diagnosis, monitoring of pregnancy processes, and checking the viability of the fetus are carried out via ultrasonographic examination at our Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic for both pet animals and farm animals.
SPAYING AND NEUTERING
Spaying and neutering surgeries are performed at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic for cats and dogs to control reproduction, eliminate undesirable signs of estrus, and prevent or treat genital organ diseases.
DETECTION OF MATING TIME, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF REPRODUCTIVE ISSUES
For animals having difficulty getting pregnant, mating at the optimal time, as well as detecting and treating reproductive issues, ultrasonography, hormone analyses, and vaginal smear examination (vaginal cytology) can be performed.
CESAREAN SECTION
In cases where natural birth is not possible or there is a risk to the mother or the puppies, a cesarean section surgery can be performed.
GENITAL ORGAN PATHOLOGIES
Many pathological conditions such as genital organ tumors, ovarian cysts, pyometra (uterine infection), and genital organ prolapses can be treated with medication or surgery when necessary in our Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.
MAMMARY TUMORS
Mammary tumors, which are particularly common in older dogs and cats, can be surgically treated at our clinics.
MASTITIS
